AVTEX is showcasing its latest VIDAA-powered devices at the Motorhome and Caravan Show at NEC Birmingham, marking five years of partnership between the two companies.
The collaboration has produced significant results. Together, V and AVTEX now occupy almost half the recreational vehicle market in the UK, as well as a substantial share across other European markets. That position has been built steadily over five years, through a combination of AVTEX’s hardware expertise and VIDAA’s open platform capabilities.
AVTEX specializes in displays, tuners, and integration systems engineered specifically for caravans and motorhomes—equipment that must perform reliably in environments where space is limited, power is variable, and conditions are rarely ideal. VIDAA provides the software layer: an open platform that delivers premium content, free channels, and an intuitive interface, regardless of location.
The result is a television experience that feels consistent whether the viewer is at home or parked at a campsite. That consistency is deliberate. Both companies share the belief that TV is TV—the experience should not be compromised simply because the screen is inside a vehicle.
The partnership is also grounded in V’s broader philosophy of enabling partners rather than competing with them. AVTEX brings deep expertise in the caravan and motorhome market; VIDAA provides the software infrastructure and content ecosystem. Neither party competes with the other—they complement each other.
Five years on, the collaboration continues to set the standard for in-vehicle entertainment across the UK and Europe.
